Play a key role in delivering the integration capabilities that underpin Kiwibank’s digital transformation roadmap. You will design, build, test, and support high quality software solutions, owning features from technical design through to delivery. Working across .NET, Kafka, APIs, and GraphQL, you will develop scalable integration services, contribute to CI/CD and automation practices, resolve production issues, and write effective asynchronous code. You will collaborate closely with engineers, QA specialists, security teams, designers, and researchers to deliver reliable solutions while contributing to engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and quality outcomes across the team.

For this role we’re looking for a collaborative software engineer with a passion for integration technologies and delivering high quality digital solutions. We would love to hear from you if you have experience in the following:

  • Proven ability to work effectively within cross functional Agile and DevOps environments
  • Experienced in .NET development and building scalable software solutions
  • Experienced in developing and integrating APIs and GraphQL services
  • Experienced in working with Kafka and event driven integration patterns
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and pipeline automation
  • Proficient in debugging production issues and improving code quality
  • Strong understanding of cloud and design principles for modern solutions
  • Experienced in writing effective asynchronous code and implementing complex components
  • Confident in collaborating with engineers, QA specialists, security teams, designers, and researchers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Proficient in Git and modern development workflows
