At Trade Me our vision is to be the place where Kiwi look first.

As a Senior Product Manager in the Trade Me Motors team based in Auckland, you will guide strategy in our next phase of growth while identifying where to add value to our proposition. • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap aligned with long-term business goals
  • Execute strong discovery practices to deeply understand and validate customer problems before investing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, sales and marketing teams to provide problem context and drive buy-in
  • Establish transparent success measurements focused on outcomes over outputs, utilising rapid experimentation
  • Practice ruthless prioritisation to focus team efforts strictly on high-value initiatives

What you will bring to our team:

  • 5+ years of product management experience leading strategies that deliver proven commercial and customer results
  • Proven experience owning an entire business area or portfolio, including pricing, monetisation and GTM planning
  • Strategic mindset with proven experience managing P&L targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong analytical capability to draw insights from data alongside deep customer-centric curiosity
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience navigating executive-level conversations
  • Proficiency in Agile software development frameworks and resilience when navigating ambiguity
  • Proactive approach to exploring and integrating AI tools to streamline decision-making and delivery

We value team connection and come together in person on Monday and at least one other day a week. #Wellness: Being your best self means caring for your physical and mental wellbeing, we offer lots of resources to help you along the way. #Leave: We support you with leave when you need it, including 5 days of wellness leave each year and 10 days of sick leave from day 1. #Social: Nothing beats getting together to have some fun and celebrate our success. Join us in the office on payday for company paid lunches. We're big on internal mobility and look to our own talent first for new opportunities.

We know some candidates can be reluctant to apply for roles if they feel they don't 'tick all the boxes'. If you're excited about this opportunity, we'd still really like to hear from you so please send us your resume and a short cover note outlining the “Why”.
