Senior Dog Groomer - Milford

Animates Vetcare is New Zealand’s leading pet care company with 47 pet specialty retail stores, 33 grooming salons and 14 vet clinics and growing.

Our Milford Grooming Salon, located within our Milford Veterinary Clinic, is seeking an experienced and passionate Dog Groomer to run our Salon!

This is a permanent, Monday to Friday position, working 40 hours per week (negotiable)!

About the Role:

You’ll provide a "Paw-some Experience’ to our customers and their furry friends by ensuring grooms are completed to the highest standard all whilst keeping the salon clean and hygienic.

With a large variety of grooming services available, it’s important you are confident with correct bathing, brushing and cutting techniques for all coat types.

What we're looking for:

• Enthusiasm and passion for the care and wellbeing of pets
• Ideally 5+ years’ experience as a Groomer, or a qualification at level 4 or higher on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF)
• An exceptionally friendly manner to engage customers, build a regular client base and grow sales
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• High work standards and ethics
