The Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, as the Senior Technician in our workshop you will supervise and coordinate the day-to-day workflow of our skilled technicians and apprentices, ensuring the high standards our company and customers expect, while maximising resources and minimising downtime.

Your hands on approach will demonstrate the importance of hard work and commitment to quality to the team and give you the opportunity to pass on your knowledge.

We are a passionate, dedicated bunch of people who work hard to get the job done for our customers while supporting each other. No ego’s here!

This is an 80% on-the-tools working alongside and mentoring the team, with 20% assisting the Service and Branch managers with admin tasks required to keep the workshop humming.

What We're Looking For

• Previous workshop experience at a senior level mentoring others
• Hands-on experience with heavy-duty trucks with an understanding of WIPs
• A strong commitment to safety and a proactive mindset
• Excellent problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head-on
• Ideally, a Class 5 license (we can help you get it!)
• NZQA in Heavy Road Transport or Heavy Plant & Equipment
• Reliability and willingness to commit to the team
