About the job

Shape the technology projects businesses depend on, not just the contracts behind them.

We’re looking for a Senior Associate or Associate (Senior Solicitor) to join our Technology and Data team in Auckland. You’ll advise multinational companies and major New Zealand businesses on high-profile technology, sourcing, AI and digital transformation projects.

You’ll work on cutting edge technology transactions, helping clients structure and negotiate strategic deals across the full technology lifecycle. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across our global network and contribute to some of the world's largest and most complex technology projects, spanning multiple jurisdictions and industries.

You’ll take ownership of sophisticated local and international matters, build direct relationships with clients and colleagues around the world, and be trusted with meaningful responsibility from day one.

With a strong pipeline of work and a blue-chip client base, you’ll have clear opportunities to progress your career and expand your practice.

  • Strong technology and sourcing experience gained within private practice
  • The ability to work autonomously and confidently manage complex matters in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive approach to building client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
  • Experience in data protection and privacy would be an advantage, but isn’t essential

Whether you’re practising in New Zealand or are overseas and considering a move home, you’ll find challenging work, ambitious colleagues and the platform to accelerate your career in a leading technology practice.
