Your Role:

We have a part-time (24 hours per week) nursing position available at White Cross Henderson, which operates 24/7. Nursing staff will be required to provide support across a variety of shifts within these hours.

  • Perform accurate nursing assessments and provide evidence-based interventions.
  • Deliver ongoing, culturally safe care that meets patient and family needs.
  • Maintain precise documentation and promote patient education.
  • Participate in team discussions, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Advanced experience in Acute Nursing.
  • Current registration as a New Zealand Registered Nurse.
  • Previous urgent care facility or Emergency Department experiences are advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Awareness of ACC and PHC.
  • Familiarity with MedTech 32 or MedTech Evolution (or similar) preferred.
  • Commitment to health equity and cultural competency, with an understanding of Tikanga Māori, Kawa Māori, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
  • Legal rights to work in New Zealand.
