About the job

Te whiwhinga mahi: The opportunity

The Regional Programme Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of the Nurse Practitioner Training Support Scheme (NPTSS). Reporting to the Regional Nursing Director and working closely with the Regional Nurse Practitioner Lead, this position provides critical coordination and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the programme across the region.

A key focus of the role is to support both employers and Nurse Practitioner trainees throughout the programme – monitoring progress and ensuring access to supervision, mentoring, and cultural support. The Regional Programme Coordinator will also help maintain programme quality and consistency, proactively identifying and addressing any challenges that may affect the trainee’s learning experience or placement success.

Collaboration and relationship management are central to this role.
