Refrigeration & Services Engineer

About the role

Our Lorneville Plant has an opportunity for a Refrigeration and Services Engineer to join our Engineering team. This specialised role is critical to our operations, ensuring all steam and hot water services are delivered safely, efficiently, and at optimum levels to meet production requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

· Safe and efficient operation of boilers, engine room, plant refrigeration and associated equipment for plant operations.

· Operation of coal and ash handling systems.

· Monitoring, servicing, and maintaining boiler and refrigeration equipment

· Managing boiler chemical dosing and recording operational readings.

· Monitoring SCADA systems

· Undertaking planned and reactive maintenance

· Contributing to the safe and reliable operation of the site's energy systems.

About you

• ENCHEM Qualification Level 3 qualification minimum
• Strong maintenance and diagnostic skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and intermediate computer skills
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
