Reconciliations Officer

We are currently looking for an experienced Reconciliations Officer to join our Reconciliations team based at Albert Street on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Primary Role:

To reconcile UDC bank accounts and ensure customer accounts accurately reflect the correct financial position

  • Processing customer

refunds, sundry pay-outs, dealer account withdrawals and various loan administration requests in a timely manner.

  • Prepare daily bank

reconciliations for UDC bank accounts.

  • End of Day & Cashflow

monitoring.

  • Prepare general ledger

journals and assist with Month-end Reconciliation.

  • Ensure all services

delivered comply with UDC governance requirements, policies, processes, and standards with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Continually improve

processes and create time efficiencies. Your skills/experience:

  • Proven

experience in reconciliations, finance operations, accounting, or a similar financial role is essential.

  • Strong

understanding of accounting fundamentals is essential, including debits and credits, bank reconciliations, journals, general ledger accounts, and balancing financial transactions.

  • Ability to investigate and

resolve reconciling items using sound accounting knowledge and analytical skills.

  • High

degree of attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.

  • Strong

time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.

  • Intermediate MS Office

knowledge.

  • Team
