This is a great opportunity to grow your leadership and workforce development experience while helping to build capability across our services.As Professional Development Facilitator - AHST, you will facilitate professional development initiatives across the Allied Health, Scientific and Technical workforce in Canterbury and the West Coast. You will work collaboratively across professions to identify workforce capability needs and support the delivery of consistent, high-quality education and development opportunities.A key focus of the role will be drawing on the expertise already within our workforce, connecting people and professions, and supporting innovative approaches to learning and development. Through this work, you will help strengthen workforce capability, encourage interprofessional collaboration and contribute to improved service delivery outcomes.You'll also contribute to wider workforce development initiatives, helping ensure our learning and development activities support the strategic direction and priorities of our Canterbury and West Coast services.This position is based in Christchurch, but the roleholder will be expected to work across multiple locations in Canterbury &the West Coast. We are open to discuss combining this role with a clinical or leadership role to increase overall FTE.About YouYou will have advanced experience and hold a current New Zealand Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate with an Allied Health professional body. You will bring proven experience in building high-performing teams throughcoaching and development, and a passion for creating an inclusive and engaging workplacewhere people are supported to contribute, grow, and succeed. As a Professional Development Facilitator, you'll will promote professional development, clinicalexcellence and evidence-based practice across AHST, building positive relationships while working collaboratively to deliver sustainable outcomes.
