About the job
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Production Operator to join our Production team in Blenheim, Marlborough and play a key role in bringing our wines to markets around the world.
As a Production Operator, you will work across a range of wine packaging and processing activities, including filling, labelling, disgorging, stock rework, warehousing support, and equipment operation. You will be part of a team committed to quality, safety, continuous improvement, and delivering world-class products.
What you'll be doing
- Operating packaging and wine processing equipment
- Monitoring product quality and production performance
- Completing production documentation accurately
- Supporting machine cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Assisting with stock rework activities as required
- Working safely and contributing to a positive team culture
- Participating in Vintage and other operational activities as needed
Requirements
- Legal rights to work in New Zealand (no visa sponsorship available for this position)
- Previous experience in a production line environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry
- Familiarity with operating and maintaining production line machinery
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain quality control
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A willingness to learn new skills and operate a variety of equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Forklift licence desirable (but not essential)
