Permanent part time role - (Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week)Location- Auckland City HospitalHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and innovative nurse for the role of Nurse Specialist Coordinator for the National Intestinal Failure and Rehabilitation Service. The National Intestinal Failure and Rehabilitation Services aim is to provide a nationally coordinated service to work with local and regional locations/providers to achieve optimum clinical outcomes for patients with intestinal failure (IF). Included in this support is the provision of recommendations to assist clinicians across NZ to manage these patients close to home whenever possible.This role is varied and challenging and will require a senior nurse with previous experience in a leadership role, with well-grounded clinical practice in the management of patients with intestinal failure and be comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team environment.This is a senior nursing position and involves the provision of specialist nursing care and coordination of care to patients. You will provide professional and clinical leadership in the management of patients with intestinal failure.For all aspects of this role please see the position description.
