About the job

At Trade Me, we're about connecting Kiwi to create the life they want. Whether it's the big things like finding a home, a job, a car or growing their business, or the smaller things, like finding that right bedside table or parting ways with some old stuff. At Trade Me our vision is to be the place where Kiwi look first.

Our audience is the heart of everything we do. The Marketing Coordinator will create visual content and support marketing campaigns that speak directly to Kiwi, giving them more reasons to connect with Trade Me Property. You will help us deliver our Property vision and unlock property confidence by executing work that drives unique property data insights, smart property assistant adoption and increased agent value.

Here is what you can expect from this role:

  • Serve as a camera "ninja" in front of the camera while driving creative short-form video execution behind it for social media, YouTube and content
  • Support the Senior Marketing Specialist to execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, social media and digital advertising
  • Activate brand moments, product features and influencer strategy plans across paid and owned channels
  • Provide executional support to the lifecycle and automation team to boost tactical communications in Braze
  • Analyse campaign performance using data and gain hands-on proficiency with tech tools including Braze, Contentstack and Power BI
  • Manage project timelines, budgets and administrative tasks to ensure smooth execution

What you will bring to our team:

  • Experience in a similar marketing coordinator role
  • Short-form video content creativity with proven confidence both in front of and behind the camera
  • Exceptional communication (written and oral) and people-wrangling skills to collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Highly organised mindset with the ability to juggle multiple competing projects and manage timelines
  • Demonstrated proficiency and success working with AI-based tools
  • Strong analytical ability to assess data, identify patterns and optimise future marketing initiatives
  • End-to-end project experience covering planning, execution and post-campaign analysis
