ABOUT THE ROLE
Based at our Awarua plant in Invercargill, as a Laboratory Technician you will be supporting the quality control and environmental functions at the Awarua operations site by providing analytical support to satisfy business requirements. A typical day could include:
- Carrying out routine and non-routine testing for quality assurance
- Ensuring laboratory equipment is calibrated
- Reporting and distributing test results as required
- Auditing effectiveness of site systems and
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement
ABOUT YOU
You’re a go-getter with a passion for continuous improvement and an eye for detail. Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong data analysis and statistical process to track product quality
- High attention to detail
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience working with Word and Excel
