IT Business Analyst

The OpportunityAt Goodman Fielder, we're transforming the way we do business—and we're looking for a sharp, proactive Business Analyst to join our Auckland team.This 12-month fixed-term role will see you partner with business stakeholders across the organisation to document current and future state processes and contribute to the successful delivery of scalable, value-driven solutions.Your work will directly support transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency, innovation, and customer experience across our iconic brands.With a hybrid working model and occasional travel to engage key stakeholders, this is a unique opportunity to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.What You'll DoEngage with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirementsMap as-is processes and design to-be solutions aligned to project outcomesSupport business case development and contribute to feasibility assessmentsCollaborate with IT and project teams to validate and deliver solutionsAssist with UAT planning and execution to ensure successful rolloutAbout YouYou're a natural problem-solver with a passion for translating business needs into practical, scalable solutions. You enjoy working across departments, asking the right questions, and bringing clarity to complexity.You'll bring:Experience delivering across small to large-scale business or IT initiativesStrong skills in business process mapping, analysis, and stakeholder engagementFamiliarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologiesKnowledge of business systems, data environments, and enterprise infrastructureExcellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build trust across technical and non-technical teamsKnowledge of manufacturing or supply chain processes, or familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), would be a strong advantageExposure to TMS or WMS is highly sort after and please highlight this in your application if you have it!Why Join Us?At Goodman Fielder, we're home to some of New Zealand's most iconic food brands - including Meadow Fresh, Vogel's, Puhoi Valley, Edmonds and more.
