Graduate Research Agronomist: Pukekohe NZ

Job Description:You will work collaboratively with our team of research agronomists to achieve trial program objectives and be involved in all aspects of crop protection trial work. This position is a great opportunity to explore your potential and connect with local clients and growers within the horticultural industry.

A typical week in the role would see the successful candidate:

• Plan and manage an established trial program by following protocol objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with local growers, clients and colleagues.
• Monitor/assess trial progress and accurately record data.
• Safely apply agrichemical treatments and other maintenance products throughout the trial life cycle.
• Work with our Research Support Officer team to ensure data and final reports are presented accurately on time and within guidelines.
• Champion the values of Eurofins Kalyx and build our brand in your local community.

Due to the nature of the role, there may be requirements for some overnight travel and additional work hours during peak times.

Qualifications:This role will suit a highly adaptable and organised individual who is driven to make a difference in agriculture. You will also:

• Have a tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Horticulture or Science;
• Have a high attention to detail;
• Be curious and challenge the status quo;
• Enjoy working both within a team and autonomously;
• Be self-motivated and resilient;
• Be based in Pukekohe, NZ – with an understanding of the local industry and its agricultural/horticultural uses
• Hold a current driver’s licence &
• Be available to commence in November 2026.
