We are looking for a motivated Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our team and build a career in industrial automation, communications and operational technology (OT).

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Electrical & Electronic Engineering graduate who is passionate about technology and wants to develop practical engineering experience working with customers, suppliers and experienced technical professionals.

About the role

As a Graduate Electrical Engineer – Automation & Communications, you will provide technical support across our Automation and Communications portfolio while developing your expertise through hands-on project work, testing, customer engagement and ongoing professional development.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Provide technical expertise in industrial automation, communications and OT technologies to internal teams and customers.

• Develop your knowledge of OT cybersecurity and support cybersecurity-related technical requirements.

• Assist with the detailed design and selection of equipment for customer projects.

• Perform in-house testing to support project delivery and technical troubleshooting.

• Provide technical support for hardware and software queries.

• Work closely with our sales team to understand customer requirements and communicate technical product benefits and differentiators.

• Engage with suppliers and technology partners to build your technical knowledge.

• Continue your professional development through supplier training, seminars, technical training and self-directed learning.

About you

We are looking for someone who is technically curious, enjoys solving problems and is genuinely interested in industrial automation and communications.

You will ideally have:

• A recognised Bachelor of Electrical & Electronic Engineering degree.

• A strong academic record.

• A genuine passion for OT automation, industrial communications and emerging technologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• The ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a team environment.

• A willingness to learn, take initiative and develop your technical expertise.

• A strong commitment to safety, quality and professional integrity.
