Despatch and Transport Administrator

What does the job look like?

As a Despatch Administrator, you will coordinate and support PM shift transport operations to enable the safe, accurate and efficient movement of freight. You will monitor vehicle and load progress, manage pallet and transport records, resolve operational issues and help maintain reliable service for customers.

Key areas:

• Coordinate PM shift transport despatch activities to support safe, accurate and on-time product delivery.

• Monitor vehicle movements, delivery progress and route activity using transport management systems and EROAD.

• Manage load allocation, relevant documentation, manifests, runsheets and proof of delivery records.

• Track CHEP, Loscam and customer pallet movements, balances, transfers and recoveries.

• Resolve load, consignment, delivery and operational discrepancies with drivers, customers and operational teams.

• Support transport compliance, reporting, invoicing documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Are you the one?

You are an experienced transport or despatch administrator who can work independently on a PM shift in a fast-paced, time-critical environment. You bring strong operational coordination, attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.

You can demonstrate:

• A minimum of two years’ experience in transport, logistics, supply chain or despatch administration.

• Experience coordinating transport operations or vehicle scheduling.

• Experience using Transport Management Systems, fleet management or logistics systems.

• Strong transport administration, data processing and documentation management experience.

• Knowledge of New Zealand transport regulations and industry requirements.

• A strong safety focus, reliability and the ability to work independently during a PM shift.
