About the Job

You’ll be an essential part of our yard operations, responsible for safely and efficiently moving empty shipping containers.

Your day will include:

• Operating single and double stacker container hoists (stacking up to 8 high, max 45,000kg)

• Moving containers around the yard

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Communicating clearly via RT

• Following all Health & Safety procedures

Location: Mount Maunganui

3 Shifts Available: Day Shift, Monday - Friday 6.00am - 6.00pm, Night Shift, Monday - Friday 5.30pm - 3.30am and 4-On, 4-Off 6:00am to 6:00pm on a rotating roster over a seven-day week.

What You Need

• Full NZ Class 1 licence (essential)

• Experience operating heavy vehicles or machinery (essential)

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety

• Flexibility to work across other sites when required

• RT communication skills

Container hoists are not standard forklifts — this is a 50T machine, confidence with heavy machinery is essential for success in this role.
