Build Kiwifruit Orchards from the Ground Up

Are you a farmer, contractor, machinery operator, fencer, or hands-on rural worker looking for a new challenge?

At Baygold, we don't just grow kiwifruit orchards, we build them. From bare paddocks to fully developed orchards, our Construction Team creates the foundations that support some of New Zealand's best kiwifruit operations. We're looking for practical, hardworking people who enjoy operating machinery, working outdoors, and seeing the results of their work every day. The role involves orchard construction, machinery operation, pole and wire installation, high shelter construction, and general site development.

We're Looking For People With

• Farming, fencing, contracting, earthworks, or construction experience

• Confidence operating machinery safely and efficiently

• A strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Good practical problem-solving skills

• Reliability and excellent attendance

• A full New Zealand driver's licence

Experience operating any of the following is highly valued:

• Tractors and tractor implements

• Excavators (2T, 5T and 10T preferred)

• Tracked tractors and rippers

• Bobcats and skid steers

• Post rammers

• Forklifts

• JCBs

• Hydroladders

• Chainsaws and other powered equipment
