We welcome applications from our diverse Maaori, Pacific, disabled, and rainbow communities. About the role:Are you an experienced senior nurse ready to take the next step into advanced practice?Join our Rheumatology team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) and play a key role in providing specialist clinical expertise, leadership, and coordinated patientcentred care across our Rheumatology Service.As a CNS, you will be a key clinical leader within the service, providing advanced nursing practice, specialist assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing management for patients with rheumatic conditions. You will work collaboratively with medical staff, allied health, nursing colleagues, and external partners to ensure seamless, highquality care.Your role will include:Providing senior clinical oversight and expert guidance to support timely, responsive rheumatology care, including infusion therapy.Delivering advanced clinical assessment, decisionmaking, and care coordination for complex patients.Acting as a specialist resource and role model for nursing and multidisciplinary colleagues.Leading and contributing to quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and service development.Supporting equitable access to care and improved outcomes for Māori, Pacific peoples, and other priority populations.Building strong relationships with patients, whānau, primary care, and external agencies to support seamless care pathways.About You:NZ Registered Nurse with current APCRelevant postgraduate qualification completed or near completionProficient PDRPFull NZ Drivers Licence5 years rheumatology or specialist nursing experience in NZ (Post registration)Excellent communication, autonomy, and problemsolving skillsJoin this amazing team by applying online now!
