About the Role
Are you an organised, creative marketer who enjoys turning agreed plans into well-executed campaigns?
We’re looking for an experienced Channel Marketer to join our Marketing team and coordinate the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity across our Comstor technology portfolio (Everpure, Cisco, Nutanix & Splunk). Working closely with our Marketing Manager, vendor teams, sales stakeholders, partners and regional marketing resources, you’ll help turn business and marketing priorities into effective campaigns, communications, events and partner initiatives.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, builds strong stakeholder relationships and can confidently coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced B2B technology distribution environment. You’ll combine campaign delivery with budget and co-op administration, performance reporting and continuous improvement. Your Key Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing
As our Channel Marketer, you’ll support the planning, execution, measurement and reporting of integrated marketing programmes that contribute to vendor and Westcon-Comstor business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development of annual and quarterly vendor marketing plans and coordinating their execution
- Translating agreed objectives into campaign schedules, activities, budgets and deliverables
- Coordinating integrated campaigns across email, digital, content, social, events and partner channels
- Supporting targeted, lifecycle and account-based marketing activities where these form part of an agreed campaign plan
- Coordinating marketing programmes that support partner recruitment, engagement and growth
- Working with sales and vendor stakeholders to identify target audiences and campaign priorities
- Managing campaign timelines, briefs, budgets, approvals and vendor co-op funding requirements
- Coordinating vendor-sponsored events, reseller events and flagship Westcon-Comstor events, including Imagine
- Working with regional marketing teams, external agencies and suppliers to develop campaign assets and promotional materials
- Ensuring marketing communications are accurate, relevant and aligned with Westcon-Comstor and vendor brand guidelines
- Supporting Sales with campaign messaging, marketing resources and promotional activities
- Tracking activity against agreed KPIs and preparing clear campaign and vendor marketing reports
- Working with Marketing Operations and Sales to monitor campaign engagement and lead outcomes
- Identifying practical opportunities to improve campaign delivery and performance
- Ensuring marketing activity meets relevant brand, privacy, data and internal compliance requirements
Qualifications / Requirements
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a highly organised marketing professional who can coordinate multiple projects while building effective relationships across internal and external stakeholder groups.
You’ll bring:
- A relevant tertiary marketing qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Four or more years’ experience in B2B, channel, partner, technology or distribution marketing
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and executing integrated marketing and communications plans
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, stakeholders and deadlines
- Experience delivering digital marketing, demand generation or partner marketing activities
- An understanding of audience segmentation, campaign journeys and lead generation principles
- Confidence tracking campaign performance and presenting clear results and practical recommendations
- Strong written communication, briefing and relationship-management skills
- Strong operational discipline, organisation and attention to detail
- Experience with social media marketing, LinkedIn campaigns and Google Ads
- Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo is advantageous
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or design principles is beneficial but not essential
- Confidence using, or a willingness to learn, AI and automation tools to support marketing research, planning, content development, reporting and productivity
- A collaborative, proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and take responsibility for delivering agreed activities
