Business Performance AnalystDunedinSalary $80,637 - $100,796 + Kiwisaver Full-time, 12-month fixed-term opportunity 1.0 FTE (40hrs per week)  Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders. About the RoleJoin Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora as a Business Performance Analyst and play a key role in supporting financial sustainability, service improvement, and operational performance across Hospital and Specialist Services.Working alongside the District Efficiency and Improvement Lead, you'll turn complex operational, financial and workforce data into meaningful insights that support financial sustainability, service performance and better outcomes for our communities. Analyse operational, financial and service data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.Develop reports, dashboards and visualisations that provide clear, actionable insights for leaders and clinicians.Support improvement initiatives from initial analysis through to implementation and benefits realisation.Maintain project plans, action logs, risks and milestones to keep key programmes on track.Investigate demand, capacity, productivity and performance challenges to support evidence-based decision making.Contribute to workshops, performance reviews and improvement activities that enhance healthcare delivery across the district. About youYou are a highly analytical and organised professional who enjoys turning data into meaningful insights. With strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach, you're comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and translating complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.Bring experience analysing complex operational or business data and presenting insights to non-technical audiences.Have strong reporting and visualisation skills, ideally with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.Thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing detailed analytical work with competing priorities and deadlines.Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with experience supporting projects, tracking actions, risks and milestones.Build trusted relationships and work collaboratively with clinical, operational and corporate teams to achieve shared outcomes. Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
