Architectural Designer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architectural Designer / Architect who is genuinely passionate about great design and equally confident turning strong ideas into beautifully resolved, technically robust architecture.

Our client is an award-winning practice working across a broad mix of residential, commercial, civic, education, health and interior projects.

Design is at the heart of the practice, with a focus on creating thoughtful, considered architecture across a broad range of project types. They are looking for an experienced Architectural Designer / Architect who shares that passion and brings the technical capability to ensure great concepts translate into well resolved built outcomes.

The Role

You'll join a talented architectural firm and contribute across a varied portfolio of projects, with the opportunity to bring both your creative and technical strengths to the table.

This role will particularly suit someone currently working within a design-led architectural practice who enjoys the creative side of architecture but is not purely a conceptual designer. You'll be equally comfortable developing ideas, resolving details and working in ArchiCAD to produce high-quality architectural documentation.

You may have developed your expertise in residential, commercial, public, education, health or interiors. Experience across every sector is not essential. What matters most is genuine enthusiasm for design and the ability to bring strong architectural thinking to the projects you work on.

Role Requirements

• Proven experience within a design-led architectural practice
• Strong design skills and sound technical capability
• Advanced ArchiCAD skills
• Experience across residential, commercial, public, education, health and/or interiors
• Ability to work from design development through to detailed documentation
• A strong portfolio showcasing well-resolved design work
• A collaborative approach and strong attention to detail
