Purpose of Position:

To be responsible for the support of the organisation’s accounts receivable and maintenance of related records.

Accountabilities:

  • Assist Accounts Receivable Administrator with monthly debtors billing through CHT patient management system.
  • Assist with setting up and receipting of payments from resident families and funding providers.
  • Debtor reporting and assistance in the collection of overdue amounts.
  • Responding to resident family queries relating to accounts and following up with appropriate action.
  • Liaison with funding agencies.
  • Involvement in continuous improvement and system enhancement projects.
  • Other duties as requested by the Finance Manager

Ideal Person Specification

  • Good communication skills, both oral and written. Clearly spoken English
  • Proven customer service skills
  • AR full cycle experience in a high volume environment
  • Accurate and fast data entry skills
  • Competence with Microsoft Word and Excel, with Excel to intermediate level
  • Experience with an ERP system an advantage.
  • Experience with a healthcare billing system an advantage.
  • Trustworthy with confidential information
  • Proven ability to work in a team.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
