About the job

Part time, 15 to 20 hours a week in the office · Reports to Finance Manager

About Onside Onside is operational intelligence for agriculture. We give agribusinesses one record of every person, property and movement, so when a disease incursion hits or an audit lands, the answer takes seconds instead of weeks.

One platform covers biosecurity, health and safety, workforce, assets, environment and market access, and every check-in adds to a connected record of agriculture. We’re ranked 38th on the Deloitte Fast 50 (2025) and named to Forbes Asia’s 100 to Watch (2025). With 90,000+ properties mapped and 8M+ visits recorded across Australia, New Zealand and North America, our big goal is 1 billion visits.

About the role You’ll keep the accounts for Onside’s group entities accurate and reconciled each month. You’ll own the bank reconciliations, sorting out variances and raising anything unusual with the Finance Manager. You’ll process supplier payments and make sure they’re paid by their due date.

Customers will come to you with billing questions, and you’ll keep their subscriptions and payment records right. New team members will have their IT equipment on day one. You’ll work with the Finance Manager and CFO, and you’ll decide how routine requests get done.

Requirements

You’ll bring

  • Experience in finance or accounts administration, including accounts payable and bank reconciliations
  • Experience working to a month-end close
  • Care with detail, especially with payments
  • Clear, professional communication with customers and suppliers
  • Comfort with cloud accounting software

Nice to have: experience with subscription billing in a SaaS business.

Who thrives here You’re sharp and structured, and you handle confidential information with care. You get on with it, and you stay steady when month-end and a new starter land in the same week.
